Who We Are

Kent de Vigné

Doctor of Dental Surgery, Master of Public Health

Dr. de Vigné has a holistic view of dentistry. In addition to 'fixing teeth,' he evaluates how the entire oral environment interacts with the rest of the body, and how the whole person is affected by emotional, psychological, sociological and environmental factors that relate to their oral health. Dr. de Vigné has practiced at Pike Place Dental since 1998. Prior to that time, he practiced in clinics for migrant farm workers, managed dental services at a community health center, and had a private practice in California.

Dr. de Vigné is a 1983 graduate of Loma Linda University in Southern California, where he received two degrees: Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Public Health. He chose this course of study in order to support his philosophy of treating the whole person in relationship to their environment. At Loma Linda, he took additional training in Pedodontics (children’s dentistry) and Endodontics (root canal therapy).
